Shapella Unstaking Upgrade Successfully Completed on Ethereum Sepolia Testnet

Next Stop Goerli, Then Ethereum Mainnet

The highly anticipated Shanghai/Capella (Shapella) upgrade has been successfully completed on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet, as planned, bringing $ETH unstaking to the network.

Next on the roadmap is applying the unstaking update to the larger Goerli testnet and finally to the Ethereum mainnet.

In a separate Twitter thread, Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko shared information about the current testnet situation and plans for the future, including launching a new testnet in 2023 called Holli (or maybe Holešky).
