Among 27 nominated NFT collections, Oddblox NFT, The Bull Society, and Horror Apes secured victories.
Pixelsweeper's first $50,000 community sweep has ended with the announcement of three winners among the nominated Non-fungible Token (NFT) collections.
PixelSweeper had previously announced that the three winning collections would be ‘swept’ with BNB raised from the original Pixelsweeper mint. After being ‘swept,’ the NFTs would be distributed back to PixelSweeper NFT holders.
The tiers are as follows:
According to a recent announcement, the Community Sweep winners are Oddblox NFT (70 BNB), The Bull Society (42 BNB), and Horror Apes (28 BNB).
27 NFT collections on BNB Chain were nominated by community vote, which went live on June 6. Users had to stake PixelSweeper NFTs through the PixelSweeper website to vote. Let's look at the winning collections:
Oddblox: Oddblox is a series of on-chain generative art. It generates a random hash for each mint, which functions as the DNA of each NFT. A coding strand is involved in producing the colors and shapes in a composition.
“Many chains have art-focused collections and platforms, yet none existed on the BNB Chain. We knew it was fertile soil to deliver something unique and true to what we value,” says CB, Oddblox Co-founder.
Horror Ape Club: The Horror Ape Club is a collection of 3,333 horror-inspired apes that live on the BNB Chain. Each NFT has its personality and backstory, and the collection combines 126 unique traits and colors.
“HAC team has been supporting and holding BNB for many years. We believe BNB Chain is the future of NFT and will be supported further by HAC as time goes on. The low gas fee on BNB Chain are also very attractive,” says the founder of Horror Apes Club.
The Bull Society: The Bull Society is a collection of 7,777 unique hand-drawn bulls on the BNB Chain. Each NFT Is unique, and there will never be another one exactly like yours. Each generation has seven distinct characteristics: Background Color, Base Color, Mouth, Eyes, Clothing, Hats, and Props. NFTs are held on the BNB Chain as ERC721 tokens and are hosted on IPFS so they cannot be stolen or lost.
The nominated collections also include Baked Potatoes, Bitpunks, Degen Ape Club, Doodle Apes, PsyBulls, Retro Boyz Association, Shitpunkz, The Living Dead, The Moon Walkers Club, Trippy Trunkz, Neural Pepe, Little Ghosts, Josh the Flamingo, Ginger Bread Boys, Cross Bosses, and Born Bad Boys.
The PixelSweeper NFTs collection was launched last April and sold out within hours. In addition to the BNB collected by PixelSweeper mint, future earnings will be distributed as follows:
Upon being swept, NFTs are held on-chain in the Prize Vault to be won by PixelSweeper stakers through weekly prize draws. There are two Prize Pots — Staker Pot and Player Pot. Anyone staking their PixelSweeper NFT is eligible to play the Staker Pot for free, whereas in the Player Pot, you can buy a maximum of 100 tickets for each staked sweeper each week for $1 BUSD.
PixelSweepers is a set of 10,000 ERC721 3D NFTs on BNB Chain. 9,500 PixelSweepers will be available for mint. In addition, 500 NFTs will be reserved for marketing and the team. The project plans to sweep the floor on different BNB Chain NFT collections and redistribute those NFTs back to PixelSweeper holders. PixelSweeper NFT holders will eventually be able to vote on which NFTs will be purchased to be added to the PixelSweeper Pots.
