The newly announced Weblink feature update will allow users to post links directly on the Fireside Forum News channel.

Pi Network appears to have taken another step forward in enhancing its ecosystem for its users in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) industry. The mobile mining blockchain has rolled out a new weblink feature on the Fireside Forum, which is part of the Pi Browser application.

With the new feature, Pioneers can share contents easily to everyone. Specifically, they can now post links or URLs in the Fireside #News channel. According to a post by Pi Network, this new feature will improve how Pioneers share and digest content on the platform.

Now, instead of just text and images, users can directly share further links to articles, videos, or other useful resources. This aims to make the Fireside Forum a more dynamic and interactive space.

To start using this new feature, Pi users need to update their Pi Browser application. Once updated, you can dive into the Fireside #News channel and start sharing or exploring links with minimal hassle.

Meanwhile, Pi Network has also revamped the look of its Pi Chat ecosystem. The highlight is a new dark mode option to give the interface a more elegant touch. Users can switch to dark mode for a sleeker look and better readability, especially in low-light conditions.

These updates seem to indicate that Pi Network is committed to continually improving the user experience. So if you're a Pioneer, get ready for a more engaging and visually pleasing journey on the Pi Network.

What is Pi Network?

Pi Network is a mobile mining blockchain with an application that lets people earn Pi coins by doing simple tasks on their phones. However, the project remains in its development stage with delivery of an open mainnet still a matter of speculation, with no launch date confirmed.

With this in mind, the protocol remains in its testnet stage and will apparently go live when many users (Pioneers) complete the mandatory KYC procedure while the core team works on developing its ecosystem.

Pi Network is also reported to be under investigation by authorities in Vietnam and users should exercise a high degree of caution when interacting with the project and ensure they have conducted sufficient research before doing so.
