Ondo Summit 2026: Wall Street Goes Onchain

Ondo Finance used its New York summit today to launch perpetual futures on U.S. equities, announce day-one IPO tokenization, and roll out direct wallet integrations with MetaMask and Blockchain.com. The February 3 event positioned Ondo as a full-stack onchain capital markets provider while drawing heavyweight speakers from BlackRock, WisdomTree, Goldman Sachs, and the White House digital assets council.

The one-day gathering billed itself as the kickoff to "Wall Street 2.0." Based on the announcements, that framing looked less like marketing and more like a roadmap.

What Did Ondo Launch?

Four major products hit the stage:

Ondo Perps introduces perpetual futures on leading U.S. equities, ETFs, and commodities. Think AAPL, NVDA, TSLA. The platform offers 24/7 access with up to 20x leverage, bringing traditional equity derivatives into DeFi infrastructure.

Ondo Global Listing enables day-one tokenization for IPOs on their public debut. Companies going public can now have tokenized versions available immediately, not months later.

MetaMask integration lets eligible non-U.S. users access hundreds of tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs directly through the self-custodial wallet. No separate platform needed.

European expansion through Blockchain.com makes 200+ tokenized U.S. assets available to eligible EEA users via Liechtenstein's regulatory passporting rights.

These additions build on Ondo Global Markets, which already reports $550 million in TVL, over $9 billion in cumulative volume, and more than 200 tokenized stocks and ETFs.

Who Showed Up?

The speaker list read like a TradFi meets crypto power ranking.

Patrick Witt from the President's Council of Advisors for Digital Assets called tokenization "a win-win for the entire financial system" and predicted it will become "part of the financial fabric."

Jonathan Steinberg, CEO of WisdomTree ($160 billion AUM), put it bluntly: "We believe eventually everything will go onchain. You can see the energy building."

Samara Cohen, BlackRock's Global Head of Market Development, joined Ondo President Ian De Bode for a fireside chat on the blueprint for trillions in tokenized value.

What Does This Mean for RWA Tokenization?

The summit signaled that institutional adoption has moved past the "interesting experiment" phase. When BlackRock executives sit on stage discussing tokenization blueprints and a White House advisor calls it inevitable, the conversation has shifted.

The MetaMask and Blockchain.com integrations matter because they remove friction. Users no longer need to navigate separate platforms or unfamiliar interfaces. Tokenized stocks show up in wallets they already use.

Ondo Perps adds derivatives depth to the RWA space. Perpetual futures on tokenized equities create trading opportunities that mirror traditional markets but operate around the clock on blockchain rails.

Day-one IPO tokenization through Ondo Global Listing could reshape how retail investors access new public offerings. Historically, IPO allocations have favored institutional investors. Tokenized versions available on debut day change that equation.
