MetaMask is making it easier for users to trade their fiat for crypto, by rolling out a “buy crypto” feature to the cryptocurrency wallet’s Portfolio Dapp.
The on-ramp feature was previously available on the MetaMask mobile app. Now, computer users can access the service through their wallet extensions and web browsers.
“Our fiat to crypto on-ramp feature takes into account various factors like your region, payment method, tokens, and more to provide the best available quotes,” MetaMask said on Twitter.
The on-ramp aggregator supports more than 90 tokens on eight blockchains, including layer-2 networks, in 189 countries.
Supported chains include: Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Fantom and Celo.
Payment partners include: PayPal, MoonPay, Sardine, Banxa, Onramp.money, Mercuryo and Transak.
