The gamified DeFi protocol looks to introduce a progression system through their mobile Dapp.
DeFi Land, a farming simulation gamified PlayAndEarn DeFi protocol on Solana blockchain, is ready to release its product for mobile users.
The team announced the feature through a tweet on August 22, after teasing its community through a cryptic GM code. Buildings and assets in the mobile version will be unlockable, allowing for progression within the ecosystem. Going mobile will allow the project to reach more people.
"We believe a mobile game is our best ticket to reaching the masses,” DeFi Land said in their Medium post. “Mobile will allow players to access all our features across many more devices with a far lower threshold for technical specifications. Giving players access to smooth gameplay wherever they go is an enormous step toward our mission of being the premier onboarding experience in web3.”
NFTs will have utility in both the browser and mobile game, with the latter having slightly different mechanics in minigames than its original counterpart. More details about the mobile release will be available in the coming weeks. The team plans to give beta access to active players of DeFi Land, including those who stake $DFL and hold NFTs.
Also announced was that DeFi Land will be one of the first apps on the Solana Saga phone. More details on this will be released in the last quarter of the year. Check out DeFi Land’s medium post for more information on the go mobile plans.
