The application is open to all Core-based builders worldwide, and winners will be incentivized to contribute innovative protocols on the blockchain.

Improving the Core Ecosystem

Core DAO has recently announced the opening of applications for its S-Prize competitions. These competitions aim to incentivize the development of innovative solutions and products that will improve its Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and GameFi ecosystem.

The S-Prize competitions are open to protocols from around the world and are divided into two categories, DeFi and GameFi. Each category will have its own criteria, and projects will be judged based on their ability to meet these criteria, as reported by BSC News on March 9. The Satoshi Plus Consensus opened the applications on April 25 and shared details via Twitter.

The winners of the S-Prize competitions will share a prize pool worth $650K in $CORE. These competitions aim to incentivize participants to create high-quality solutions that will have a positive impact in the industry.

Core DAO's S-Prize competitions are exciting for the development of projects building on the Layer-1 blockchain. By incentivizing the development of innovative solutions, these competitions will help to drive the growth and success of its scalable and secure ecosystem. As the DeFi industry continues to evolve, it is initiatives like these that will help to shape its future.

Refer to our article to learn more about the criteria and reward snapshot for both categories. Interested protocols should visit the protocol’s page HERE to begin their journey of building the next big protocol on the Core chain.

What is Core DAO:

Core DAO is the official decentralized organization developing the Satoshi Plus ecosystem. It represents an opportunity for miners to access new revenue streams by contributing hash power to the chain. Inspired by the principles of both blockchains, Core displays a deep appreciation for the crypto ecosystem's history and an even greater excitement for Core’s role in its future.
