Smart contract oracle network Chainlink recruited the 25th member to the BUILD program and announced a partnership with a South Korean AI chatbot NFT collection.
Chainlink partnered with a simplified Web3 platform to reach 25 members in its BUILD programme, and collaborated with a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) by thingsflow.
In this week’s roundup:
Cryptum has joined the Chainlink BUILD Program to accelerate adoption of its solutions that aim to simplify the Web3 builder experience.
“We’re excited to join Chainlink BUILD, which will help us expand the usage of our Web3 development solutions. The Chainlink Network underpins the multichain ecosystem, and its support will help us rapidly gain users for our platform,” Cryptum Founder Andre Salem said in a Medium post. “Ultimately, we aim to develop a set of solutions that makes it easy to get started with building Web3 dApps and onboard new users into this flourishing ecosystem.”
Cryptum aims to simplify building Web3 Decentralized Applications (dApps) to onboard Web2 developers and users to the blockchain. It currently supports 10 networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Celo, BNB Chain, Solana, Stellar, Cardano, Hathor, Avalanche (C-Chain), and Polygon.
As part of BUILD, Cryptum will receive access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, dedicated technical support, and more.
In return, Cryptum has committed a percentage of its total token supply to Chainlink service providers, including stakers.
The recruitment of Cryptum means the BUILD programme now has 25 members, representing an array of Web3 projects across a variety of blockchains from every corner of the crypto sector.
Chainlink celebrated the milestone with a Twitter post.
Launched in September, the BUILD programme is a growing network of projects who gain enhanced access to Chainlink services and its community in return for committing fees and incentives to service providers, including stakers.
South Korean entertainment chatbot Hellobot has integrated VRF to randomize contents of mystery boxes for its Hellobot Universe NFT project on Ethereum.
“We’re excited to leverage Chainlink VRF, a staple of the Web3 gaming and NFT space, to help power our mystery box reveal process. Proof of randomness is critical for establishing a high-integrity reveal process that gives our users high confidence that rewards are distributed fairly,” Hellobot Universe Co-Founder Willy Lee said.
Hellobot Universe is the first NFT project from thingsflow. Originally a Web2 AI chatbot with 2.8 million users, Hellobot is embedded into Naver Z’s ZEPETO, the largest metaverse platform in Korea with more than 20 million monthly active users.
