Smart contract oracle network Chainlink expands to Aave and partners with a DEX protocol and South Korean marketing firm. Plus, NFT Christmas gifts!
Dominant smart contract oracle network Chainlink is concluding the year on a strong note, announcing partnerships with protocols and projects across the globe.
In this week’s roundup:
Aave Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) voted to integrate Chainlink Proof of Reserve, initially on Avalanche. The move will provide additional security for the decentralized lending protocol.

Congratulations to @bgdlabs and @AaveAave on the successful proposal. This integration will help mitigate risks around wrapped tokens. https://t.co/MvIid5oWHa
The proposal is specifically for Aave v2 and v3 on Avalanche, beginning in January 2023.
Robodex Protocol has joined the Chainlink BUILD program to accelerate the growth and adoption of its Decentralized Exchange (DEX).
“We’re thrilled to be joining the Chainlink BUILD program. The enhanced access to Chainlink’s industry-standard services, and support from Chainlink Labs, is helping us to build Robodex, which will greatly empower liquidity providers. We do this without adding layers of complex hedging — that themselves introduce risk,” Robodex Co-Founder and CEO Matthew Willetts said in a Medium post. “Innovation like ours work best in thriving ecosystems that include leading programs and protocols, and we welcome the passionate Chainlink community into the Robodex ecosystem.”
AI and machine learning-focused protocol ChainML is a partner of Robodex and has been a BUILD participant since November.
“We are excited that Robodex is a part of the Chainlink BUILD program. Their vision of intelligent DEXes that manage portfolios intelligently is exciting, and we’re excited to partner with them and Chainlink Labs as they enable real-time models to benefit DeFi customers,” ChainML Co-Founder and CEO Ron Bodkin said.
As part of BUILD, Robodex will receive benefits such as access to Chainlink Automation nodes, Data Feeds and product alpha and beta releases. In exchange, Robodex will make 3% of its total token supply at launch available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers, over a period of time.

Both FSN and Chainlink Labs are at the forefront of the NFT ecosystem, and we firmly believe Chainlink oracle services are critical to unlocking new forms of NFT utility, garnering user confidence in Web3 projects and enabling NFTs to realize their immense potential,” FSN CEO Lee Sang Seok said in a Medium post.

Users who want to participate in the gift exchange deposit their NFTs into a pool, receiving an unopened gift NFT in exchange. The reveal and “unwrapping” will happen on Christmas morning.
“The VenturePunk team chose to use Chainlink VRF to help ensure that the NFT allocation process is fair and secure, bringing a new level of transparency and reliability to our platform. We're excited to continue building with Chainlink services on future projects,” VenturePunk Founder and CEO Jordan Lyall said in a statement.
