On Thursday, April 6, BSC News hosted the Solana-based NFT project, Okay Bears in a BSC News Live session on Twitter space. 

BSC News Live is a daily live broadcast, distributed through various social media platforms, showcasing the biggest and brightest projects across the cryptocurrency landscape. During the event, the project of the day joins BSC News over an hour-long live stream to discuss a specific set of project-related or general industry-related topics. 

The session started on a good note with the co-founder Kais sharing an overview of the project, and the talented team behind it. Kais went further to discuss his journey into crypto and the motivation behind the Okay Bear project.

“Genuinely speaking, I would say we went through hundreds of iterations, and then we settled on the standard, like Okay Bear, and now we’re happy”. 

BSC News Live host, Tom, proceeded to question the choice of launching on Solana, and their thoughts on Solana’s future, given the non-EVM blockchain’s torrid time in the past year. In response, Kais emphasized their early experimentation on Solana due to its low entry barrier, which allowed them to learn from mistakes. Kais noted that Okay Bears was able to attract a universal audience who were there to mint a Solana NFT because they would not be able to mint an Ethereum one. However, the choice of Solana does not mean that they are not looking at other chains to grow the Okay brand. Despite the blockchain's numerous troubles, Kais reaffirmed his trust in the Solana ecosystem and believed that the next bull run would be the test for Solana.

The Okay Bears co-founder further discussed the project's partnership with leading sports marketing company, IMG, and detailed the interesting factors that contributed to its successful mint on Solana, with notable mention of the highly-selective Whitelist process. 

Okay Bears will be present at the NFT NYC on April 13 at 2 PM EST to further discuss the vision and mission of the project, as well as announce new top-tier partners that will help boost the Okay brand. In anticipation, the project has teased the audience by changing its logo from green and white, to red and white.
