Aptos is hitting the road in 2023, with the first event of its "World Tour Hackathon" set for Seoul in February. What will the other three cities be?
The new Aptos blockchain is taking its show on the road in 2023, announcing a series of events in four cities, starting with the capital of South Korea, Seoul.
The first stop on the “World Tour Hackathon” is in Seoul from Feb. 1-3, according to the Aptos website.
“The Aptos Seoul Hack will be in-person only with participation by core Aptos engineers. There will be three days of hacking and demos with a party to cap the week on Friday evening! Themes include Gaming, NFTs, DeFi, Tooling and Infrastructure with prizes for winning teams in each track,” according to Aptos.
The deadline to register is Jan. 26. There is no mention of where the other three cities are scheduled to be on the tour.
Aptos is the first blockchain-based on Facebook’s Move programming language and scrapped stablecoin project Diem.
