Franklin Templeton Launches Dedicated Crypto Unit
Franklin Templeton has launched a standalone crypto division called Franklin Crypto, acquiring 250 Digital — a firm spun off from venture capital outfit CoinFund.
The unit will be led by former CoinFund executives Christopher Perkins and Seth Ginns, with innovation chief Sandy Kaul overseeing the group.
The firm already manages a bitcoin ETF and a tokenized money-market fund on Binance.
