Interlink Set For Most Important Release in History

Interlink Set For Most Important Release in History

Seoul Mainnet Launch Marks Version 6.0 Milestone

@Inter_Link is officially preparing for the June 2026 rollout of Version 6.0, marking the formal launch of the InterLink Seoul Private Mainnet after roughly a year of development. The project describes this as its most significant release to date, with the upgrade activating $ITLG staking in line with DAO Proposal #16 and introducing a new framework designed to bring real-world businesses on-chain.

The project has been building toward this moment through a series of incremental upgrades. Earlier versions introduced mandatory KYC verification, a dual-token model separating governance and utility functions, and a Proof of Personhood consensus mechanism that requires biometric identity confirmation before users can mine, stake, or vote. According to Interlink's official whitepaper, $ITLG serves as the genesis governance token while $ITL is structured for institutional integration and broader economic utility.

Transaction-Backed Protocol Targets Real-World Business Tokenization

Central to the Version 6.0 release is what Interlink describes as a first-of-its-kind Transaction-Backed Digital Asset Protocol, intended to tokenize real-world businesses rather than conventional financial assets. The approach places Interlink within a fast-growing sector. According to law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman, the real-world asset tokenization market reached $24 billion this year and could grow to $30 trillion by 2034, driven by mainstream financial institutions adopting blockchain infrastructure.

Beyond tokenization, the ecosystem is targeting hundreds of decentralized application launches within the first year of mainnet operation. The network also incorporates post-quantum cryptographic signatures, a measure intended to guard against AI-assisted attacks on traditional cryptographic systems. Interlink's stated vision is to build a human-centric blockchain accessible to everyone, with an ambition to onboard five billion internet users as part of a phone-based human network.

The June 2026 timeline arrives after a development cycle that saw multiple version upgrades, shifting listing expectations, and a growing user base that the project says now numbers in the millions. Whether Version 6.0 delivers on its stated ambitions will be closely watched by both the project's community and the broader blockchain industry.
