Russia And Ukraine Agree Ceasefire
President Putin and President Zelenskyy have officially confirmed a 32-hour ceasefire for Orthodox Easter starting Saturday at 4 PM Moscow time.
The temporary truce is scheduled to run through midnight Sunday, marking a rare diplomatic pause as both nations observe major religious celebrations.
The agreement follows a massive exchange of remains involving over 1,000 soldiers and reports of Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev meeting with Trump administration officials to discuss economic cooperation.
Despite the announcement, local officials in Dnipropetrovsk reported continued artillery strikes this morning, highlighting the extreme fragility of the pause.
