Blackrock Planning Nasdaq-100 Etf In Direct Challenge To Invesco'S $Qqq
@BlackRock is reportedly planning a direct Nasdaq-100 ETF, putting the world's largest asset manager head-to-head with Invesco's $QQQ/$QQQM franchise, one of the most dominant product monopolies in ETF history.
The move would force a fee war on an index with no current low-cost iShares competitor in the U.S. market.
Early analyst estimates put the expense ratio under 15 bps, well below QQQM's current 15 bps floor.
