Morgan Stanley'S Bitcoin Etf Could Launch As Early As Next Week
Morgan Stanley filed Amendment No. 4 to its Bitcoin ETF registration with the SEC on April 1.
The fund, called the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin $BTC Trust, will trade on NYSE Arca under the ticker $MSBT.
Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart (@JSeyff) believes this is the final amendment before launch.
"My base assumption is that this is the last amendment before we get a finalized prospectus and this thing launches next week," he said.
The ETF is designed as a passive vehicle tracking Bitcoin's price via the CoinDesk Bitcoin Benchmark.
