Ripple Cto Emeritus Debunks Xrp Escrow Misinformation
David Schwartz has addressed recent misconceptions about XRP's escrow system after a 2025 tweet was taken out of context and spun as inside information.
An X user had wrongfully implied that the majority of XRP held in escrow was pre-allocated to a specific party.
Schwartz clarified that the information was public knowledge about how XRPL's escrow mechanism works, not a secret revelation.
He stated the tweet was misconstrued and that the claim was "an obvious fact apparent to anyone who understands how XRPL and the escrow works."
